Hey all,
I need to create a "white noise" type of animation but in a loop.... I'm usually pretty creative when it comes to thinking up ways to go about things I need. But I'm at a loss at to what type of software I might use to do this with. Does anyone know where I might start to begin working on this type of looping animation? Thanks so much!

use noise in PS and animate it by creating a few separate images and rotating through them

Poser's materials are animation friendly, you could just set up a big plane that takes up the entire viewport and set the material to have a Noise node plugged into the Diffuse_Color channel and change the values between different frames.  Render with shadows off and a very simple lighting scheme (one light, 100% white color).

You can animate a noise or other 3d node . Applied to a plane primitive that may do what you want.
