Yup...... hate being photographed, but every once in awhile I try to get something avatar worthy. So far I'd rather use a pic of a favorite animal..... they are much more photogenic!

Awesome bentchick. I like what you did with the coloring too.

Well, there is one on my bio page but here is a newer one, taken about 2 months ago, give or take 3 or 4 weeks...

My tummy is larger, quit smoking a little over a year ago and put on weight fast, fast, fast.  It takes a good year to get the metabolism in order to start a decent diet..I need to get that going since now I have no pants to wear.
**
The tummy does serve to modestly cover my 6 pack abs.
**
The photo was at a local dam during the unusual event of water coming over the top spillways. This is the same dam in my second from first gallery image.

Bravo, Tom!!! It's always a good thing to quit smoking!

Not a new one, but an idea i had awhile back for a "hacker" type image...Code name: Cyber-Smurf

I used 2 LEDS  and my LCD monitor for lighting. The reflection in the glasses is actually Renderosity LOL!

Okay, I've gone in exactly the opposite direction!  This is the original of my current avatar, straight out of the camera.  I cropped out some blank wall and resized it for the forum, but that's absolutely all I did.  You know Sig was up here in May, so he's seen me in person.  When I changed my avatar after he was here, he said "I like your new avatar!  That's an old photo, isn't it?"  LOL!  Nope ... it was taken in March ... just the magic of postwork!  I did some, a friend who's a bit better at pw than I am did some, and the result is the avatar you see in b&w.  (with me looking a lot younger, apparently!)  ![](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/art/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Here's me on my recent trip to Phoenix, AZ. Should I make this my Avatar?

X-PaX posted Tue, 06 October 2009 at 11:07 AM

I've made this shot after work. This nice little place is a little bay in Schlutup (Ostholstein, Germany) and i've sit down there, relax and enjoy the silence.

Yes, Art, I think you should make that your avatar.  Maybe crop it down a little more (perhaps to the edges of the hat) so your face doesn't get lost in the small avatar format.  It's a great pic, and I think it shows your personality better than the more formal portrait.  It's very nice!

Ok, here is one more of me, shot last year in England at Shakespeare's home.  The ladies are actresses at the site, adding some drama to the visit.  I asked them to pose and gladly that happened, I was not displeased. : )

I think I've show this before, but I'm not sure. I took this on vacation in Scotland. Used the timer and a tripod. The grey tube on the back is how I transported the tripod :)
