Purpose, eventually to post a V3 cutie, that everyone will "love" to have--or NOT, in the free stuff section.
What I have done so far--using my brand new V3 head and morph pack, created several V3 figures. I tried spawning me morp targets and it does show up under morph that works on the same creation figure. Then I save that morph in the pose section with the proper subsections clicked on namely head and eyes. Then I started anew with the base model and click on my morph, nothing happens. Thats problem one
If and when I get that going, how do I package it for renderosity's free bee section so that folks that have the head and morph packs can download it and have it working? Jan

If your character is just dial settings of Daz morphs , you cam simply save a pose file , and include morph data. When applied to the base figure (with morphs injected) you will get your character and it can then be posed as desired.
If you spawn morphs you will need to set up inj poses using the pb,_cc channels in the base figure. There should be tutorials on doing inj poses.

If you used the DAZ V3 Head and Morph pack, you cannot spawn a morph and then distribute it. That breaks the TOS (you can't embed their morphs).
Distributing a character is actually easy with the morph pack. Just save it as a pose to your Poses directory (include both channels and transformation when prompted). This will save a PZ2 file for your in your preferred location. THEN, go to that location, open the PZ2 file in Notepad. Change the version number to 4 so it has maximum compatibility with previous versions of Poser as well as DAZ Studio. Save it.
To distribute it, you'll want to have a PNG thumbnail with the same name as your PZ2 (one created by Poser when you saved it or something you create yourself in a photo editing software package like Photoshop or Gimp).
Make sure you place your PZ2 and PNG correctly into a folder structure that is Poser-readable (Runtime...then Libraries...then Pose...then YOUR USERNAME (or V3 or something to identify it) and then you can put your PZ2 file and corresponding PNG. Then you'll want to zip it up using WinZip, 7Zip or similar software.
I would also suggest adding a readme to let people know their usage rights (commercial? noncommercial? can they redistribute or build on your morphs?).
Also, you may also want to include a "remove" pose. This sets V3 back to "normal." To do that, just take the base V3 figure with the morphs loaded (without ANY changes) and then save a pose (once again, with both the channels and transformation boxes checked). Follow the other steps above and save it as a "REM _________ for V3". The blank should include the name of your character.
Other folks: feel free to correct me if I forgot something.
If this all sounds too complicated, you can buy a tool to help you. One example: http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/injection-magic?item=2044&m=d

Glad I did this, didn't realize I couldn't submit it. I'll just use it myself (when and if I can get working). Thanks, Jan

In case anyone needs it, I wrote out a detailed tutorial on how to do this on my website:

This includes lots of details that I did not mention above.
