Are there any good morphs for V4 to make her look like Angelina Jolie?
thefixer posted Thu, 17 September 2009 at 10:39 AM
This one is pretty close IMO!

Gosh someone traded me a product with an spot on Angelina character injection. I think it was from gypsyangel. Maybe one of the LOTN products. I've asked her to chime in with a link if possible.

Alara looks like a pre teen Angelina to me.

True, but still Angelina. I own both and can recommend both depending on what you are looking for.

If you have an Angelina Jolie morph in Poser, does she go into other runtimes and adopt baby character morphs?

You can download the character from Kakadoo here:

Whoa! She actually comes with tattoos and all. This package includes a character with a complete body and face morph + 2 tattoo texture options.

Ok. I loaded the character and did a render of the face. I had to adjust the eyes a little but this is an amazing morph of Angelina. The textures are all 4000x4000 px. resolution and it seems that Kakadooo has added almost all of Jolies tattoos. Amazing!
Thank you for the link! It really is an impressive morph!

I'm finding a few issues with it .... when you zero the pose there are issues with the shoulders (looks like a "fix armpits" morph was created but the deltas weren't applied when the arms were at zero pose). Also, the figure doesn't load in the default zeroed position.
Also, the eyes aren't round, which might present a problem when she looks up-down or side-side.
If these issues are fixed she'll be awesome!
Vestmann posted Fri, 18 September 2009 at 10:28 AM
Yeah I'm thinking of exporting her head and neck to see if I can apply it to standard V4. It's also better for fitting clothes. I find the texture that comes with her unrealistic so I´ve moved the tattoos on to the Elite Lana textures for V4. It looks much better.
DCArt posted Fri, 18 September 2009 at 10:31 AM
The head and neck will export fine. As for the eyes, I had to create magnets for them, so that I could scale them down and reposition them. Then once they were scaled and positioned correctly, I spawned morph targets and deleted the magnets.
OH ... also if you have the V4 Skin Realism kit that will help on the default texture.
Render coming soon.

Still waiting for it LOL ... and it won't be that big. I'll have to do a larger version but that will take a bit longer.
Take that back ... I have to start it all over again. The lighting wasn't quite right.

Where you able to export Head and Neck ?
I could not get it work correctly :(
Poser keeps telling me the vertices count is wrong

Vestmann,
Your making very nice work of this morph :)
When you saved out the Head how did you handle V4's eyes? Magnets?

I never did get good results with magnets, so I just un-hide the dials and used them directly.

That is a great image! I also found it hard using the magnets and I used the Ultimate Morph Pack from RDNA to adjust the eyes as well.

I'm having trouble exporting the head morph as well. It could be something I'm doing wrong, as I haven't done this in a while.
I've tried both Poser 6 and 8.
Exporting with default settings applies the morph, but moves the heads position away from the rest of the body.
Exporting with export as morph target checked, the morph does nothing to the head when applied.
Could someone please post a screenshot with correct settings or a suggestion of what I could be doing wrong.
Thanks, Darren.

Did you zero the character? I don't remember if it makes a difference but when I exported the head I zeroed the character and made sure all trans dial on hip and body were at zero.

Did you check the body and hip trans dials? I did a test where the hip dials were not at zero and I got the same result as in your first image. Note that Kakadoo's character loads up with settings on the trans dials for the body.
Here's what you should do:
See if this works.
Vestmann posted Sat, 26 September 2009 at 1:17 PM
Wait, wait, wait! There is a much simpler solution. In the export settings check ONLY "As morph target". Leave everything else unchecked.
DarrenUK posted Sat, 26 September 2009 at 1:57 PM
Thankyou!
I tried your last suggestion first. Originally when I had checked "As morph target" I had left the two other "default" selections checked. I had assummed that the "As morph target only" setting would make the program ignore any other settings it didn't need for that.

I managed to do this in Daz Studio. It worked after I remembered to zero
the figure x,y translations which were not 0,0 by default. By the way, there
is a for sale AJ morph and texture set in the MP now. The tex look great
but I don't think the morph is any better than this terrific free one... Just MHO.

A. Jolie?
Check here (not made for Poser but for LW, MAX etc. and expensive, but it's just wow):

You don't need to register but to enter your birthdate on the front page.
Then look for a model called Gala.

There probably are a lot of actresses that look better but I can´t think of many that have more character then her.
