I've been watching episodes of the British Sit-Com Couplings.  I'm curious to know whether I'm alone in thinking that Kate Isitt is more pretty and talented than Sarah Alexander. 

Of all the male actors on the series, I also prefer Ben Miles the best, as well as his character Patrick Maitland.

I also think that Gina Bellman as Jane is also very good.

Well I actually loved the program and watched it for the program not whether I thought the people in it were nice looking or not :P

My favourite character  was Jeff. He was hilarious. I think it's his whole persona and his welsh accent made his character even more funnier. Maybe you are early on into the series, I watched them a LONG time ago, and Jeffs character was brought out more later on.

It's good fun. And pretty down to earth and I guess accurate. I miss it!

Getting old and still making "art" without soiling myself, now that's success.

Jeff was at his best in the striptease scene of Season 2, episode 8: Naked.  But my Two favorite episodes were in Season 4, Nightlines and Bed Time:  especially when kate Isitt did the Elf Dance.

I DO wish that there's been a Season 5, so that I could know whether Sally DID in fact accept Patrick's proposal, and whether Jane and Oliver managed to finally get it on.  Also seeing how Susan and Steve got on with their baby would also have been interesting. 

-AND seeing whether Sally ever got pregnant, thus fulfilling one of Patrick's fetish dreams would have been another interesting development.

Jeff actually auditioned with the Welsh accent and they were well into the filming before anyone found out he wasn't Welsh :oi).........Steve
