A friend linked me to this earlier today. I have resultantly spent most of the afternoon attempting to pick my jaw up off the floor....
Not strictly timelapse photography, more like a logical evolution of it which has been made possible by the latest generation of SLR's equipped with HD video.... these sequences were all shot with a Canon 5dmkII. I'd recommend having a look at the behind the scenes videos too, they give an interesting insight for those curious as to how the slow panning was achieved. Enjoy!

Well, my flash player is showing only a black box with moving time line...must try again.

perhaps time to update your flash player to a newer version Tom? worth a look if your internet connection's up to speed ;)

My player is Adobe 10. It works fine on YouTube..maybe the connect is messed up for some reason. This timelapse must be good considering the comments on it. Thanks for the thought.

It was not the net or the player...operator error if that seems possoble with Adobe Flash.
Yes, these pesentations are spellbinding and beautiful. Adam, thank you very much for the link.

I've been an admire of Toms work for a long time. He's the one that made me give it a go. I must say it's not as easy as it looks, and can be brutal on your shutter. But it's worth it I think if you can get results like this. He really does put his time in on this....some of his other vids are just as awesome. Thanks for posting the link here! Aloha~
