Has anyone tried TerraDome over at RuntimeDNA in Carrara?  Does it work?  Any first impressions?

Thanks,

It seems to me that part of TerraDome is an atmosphere similator, soemrthing that Carrara already has. The rest is propably a bunch of pre-made props that could be imported in C7. Didn't try it though.

I was hoping that it would be less cumbersome.  I find it difficult to merge character sized objects inside a Carrara simulation, the terrain is so massive that it becomes difficult to work on the small scale within the simulation.

I was hoping TerraDome was sort of like an envirosphere with a reasonable size which would be less taxing on the system and simply provide a realistic background.

The Terrain is the size you want it to be???? Also, I regularly use images as a backdrop behind a terrain rather than an Atmosphere Sky.

Example here. The "sky" is only a jpeg Backdrop. Brian
