HI all, i'm pretty new to Vue, less than 6 weeks, and I keep getting this OFFSET SPLIT across the renders on anything over FINAL.  It's right across the middle of the lettering on the image, see?

I followed some advice about turning background draw off, disabling OpenGL and updated the GFX drivers but it's still there...Tearing my hair out, pls help.

(DC 2.4ghz, 9500gt, 4gb ram, Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit)

PS:   its a single frame from an animation, havent seen it on STILLS yet.

Is this a Vue text object or something you imported?  It could be a smoothing problem or maybe some reverded normals.  If it's an imported item, try double-clicking on it and changing the Max smoothing angle.

If I were you, I wouldn't expect a whole lot of help after the "another 72 clueless hobbyists" comment. Peggy has more patience than I do....

Unless Vue is your only option, I would go with another program for animation with the object you've shown (perhaps vegetation shows up somewhere in your animation?)

thx peggy i'll give it a try and let u know, and its not an import its a slightly modified shape...also, this happens regardless of which shape or model or character or text i use, and only on broadcast, superior and ultra.  spent over a week fiddling with user settings and geting nowhere so thx for the advice cos i didnt try that.

no this doesnt contain any vegetation but yes it includes atmospherics and various other vue elements that i simply dont find on other software.

starting to think its my card, 9500gt, but as it romps all of the games i got on max settings, not sure.

and u can now make it 70 clueless hobbyists, cheers
