I've made some morphs that I like in P8.  Is there a quick way to save these and re-apply to the same figure in a new project?  I've searched the forums with no luck (though I'm SURE this has been covered).  I'm guessing I could export an OBJ of each body part, but that will be a pain for morphs that span parts.

Attached Link: Morph Manager

If the deltas for the morphs are in the figure file you should be able to transfer them with Morph Manager.

Is that going to handle custom morphs made with the morph tool in P8?

Ideally, you would like to create an INJ/REM Pose file to re-apply your new morphs.  There are several progams, for example Injection Magic or Morph Injection, which make the process convenient and will create the necessary files and icons within your runtime folder.

I don't know (I don't have P8)?  I would think it should. You could try it and find out.  Just remember to save the figure back in the the library with "Use external binary morph targets” unchecked in your General Preferences.

BTW, the workflow requires that you save your new morphed character as a cr2 figure file.

 Hm actually I would go the opposite route of chriscox and specifically make sure that "use external morph targets" is checked. That will give you a new pmd you can easily inject to any similar character with this little PZ2:

{

version

{

number 6

}

injectPMDFileMorphs NAME_OF_THE_PMD.pmd

}<br></br><span style="font-family:Arial;"><br></br><span dir="ltr">Substitute the "NAME_OF_THE_PMD.pmd" with
whatever name your pmd has and save it as a pz2, then use it
toinject the morphs into a new figure :)</span></span><br></br>

That's pretty cool.  I always though you could not add channles with a pose but that did.  It doesn't seem to have added the FBM dials to the body but that's easy enough to redo..
