Very cool. I couldn't help laughing at the dummies getting blown up and away in the animation. Knowing that they weren't real people made it funny. Impressive discovery! People doing animation with Poser Physics should like these.

Cool discovery! Makes me want to dust off Poser Physics again!
One question: That lovely cell shaded effect isnt' actually rendered IN Poser, is it? If so... HOW??!

Hi you should check with Smith Micro if they have any plans to update the poser physics for P8
I stopped buying the poser application itself after P6
Here are some new Video renders of the effect

I installed the P7 version of PoserPhysics to Poser 8 and it's working fine here.
I've also made M4 and V4 work in PoserPhysics (an error about a wrong bone or something always causes a fail with them) by making a copy of their respective .cr2 files and editing the word TongueBase to just Tongue, and resaving them (in my case as PoserPhysicsM4.cr2 and PoserPhysicsV4.cr2).

Even with the hack, occasionally an error will still get thrown up, but most time it works a treat :)Here's another quick M4 anim :)

Thanks Wolf, both for the tip and the laughs,
Thanks Raven for the hack,
also to add a note that using Freak 4 with Physics in P6 I didn't have any problem with the figure as such, however Physics was "ignoring morphs parented to M4" so the animation needed quite a lot of adjustment to compensate.

Hi all
Just some quick up dates
I have figured out a nice work flow between poser physics and the DAZ aniMate+
"aniblock " System
using the two I can Combine Other animations seamlessly with Disaster Motions
Additionally i can Determine where the Victim is going land and have him/her collide
with any other scene object I choose.
The possibilities are truly endless!
this is nearly as good as the $9500 "Endorphin program" IMHO
I NEVER though I would be this excited about animating in poser again

Excellent find there wolf... although i have a question, these bombs, are they objects that are made in a modeling ap and imported into poser(which contain seperate parts) or are all the parts of the bomb parented or placed together individually inside poser?

Cool.
Raven looks like an extreme game of dodgeball! I can imagine a whole line of people just chucking those balls at him.
Am I correct in assuming that for the vehicle etc, it has to be in separate pieces, and each bit selected as a "collision object"?

Greetings all
Well it seemS we at FitraMedia Interactive
Have made another small
Discovery within our last "discovery".
If you are a Poser Physics user who also happens to own wardrobe wizard by Philc.
you can now auto Explode almost any Poser Figure or prop that is built a Multi-Part figure.
Simply use the "Export figure to multiple prop" utility in the Wardrobe Wizard menu.
export your figure to multiple props.
Then delete the figure from your scene
and hit the "import multiple props" button
right above the export button.
this will re-assemble your figure as a TEXTURED***(**in most cases) set of static props.
run the poser physics script and the new
prop explodes due to touching geometry.
note be sure to empty the obj files from the temp folder in you WW directory or after each export/import session or you will import the props from the previous session along with your current one.
Have fun.
Cheers

Hi
whats old Dusty about the version you have??
as I never upgrade from Poser6( final SR)
I am still running the original poser physics 1.0 from back then and I am getting the results you have seen posted thus far.
I was given the P7 update but dont actually need it.
Cheers
shedofjoy posted Fri, 16 October 2009 at 9:09 AM
By dusty i mean i will have to dust it off as i have to install P6 Back on my system...lol...
I have contacted smith micro about the update issue but have yet to get a reply.

Its my understanding ,from recent threads,
that you may not ever get your old Content paradise
purchases from SM due to the rebuilding of their store etc.
I hope it works out for you
Cheers.
shedofjoy posted Sat, 17 October 2009 at 3:48 AM
sadly smith micro doesnt want to honor any upgrades, so i will have to see if it's anywhere on the net, it's a shame that this company has removed all customer support from before their acquisition of poser....
also this has put them in a negative light in my eyes as they own this product and they know i purchased a copy of it from their site but they would rather may me pay another $49 and that aint gonna happen....
