I really hope that I don't get into any trouble. However, what I would like to see are renderings of strictly Poser 8 figures eg variations of Alyson, Marie, Alisha, and Izumi well okay the men too.
The reason is: All Poser 8 figures have head and body morphs that equal those of DAZ (IMVVHO) and I think that you can combine your creations into one figure that resembles a little of each.
I've searched the internet and haven't found any. Not even at SM (hint, hint) except for Alyson base figure. Jan

If you'd like to sponsor a contest, feel free to send an email to contests@renderosity.com and we'll get you set up. Just a note, though, we're booked 'till the end of the year, so it's gonna be the first of the year before it gets any headway.
However, there's nothing wrong with challenging your fellow artists ;) If that's what you're trying to do :)

Thanks for your quick reply Jen, maybe contest is too strong, I think that a fun challenge is more the right phrase. Could be a scene or just a figure--next question, where to put it (in this thread maybe). Jan

I think that would be a great idea :) Would you like me to change the title of your thread to note that it's a challenge?

I'll go first-mine is a dial flipping of Alyson via the Pose room (nothing in the face room), the hair is by Koz and the dress is by Sydl just changed the colors and added fbm. Background is a Vue 7 Pro rendering. No post work. Jan

Done :) I've even made it a sticky.
I'll even try my hand at this later ;) I think it'll be fun :)

I didn't expect this, thank you Jen--title is great. --looking forward to yours. Yep, its fun and habit forming. For folks who want to give it a try, there are two basic methods or a combination of both (you will need to open the hierachy menu and click on the body to get all the neat full groups--easiest method). Method 2 is selecting individual body parts, that is the reason why you have two numbers beside the dials-so that you will already know that the particular part as been tweaked, upper values are the full body morph done by selecting the body in the hiearchy menu-pretty neat!) Here's a post on my blog with a reworked version of Alyson using Face Morphs, Body Morphs and the Face Room Shaping Tool.

Shes is interesting in that her morphes look more like ordinary people than V4. She does not have the glamour look. I think V4 would beat her in a beauty contest but hey not everybody can be a beauty queen. So that makes her interesting. I look forward to seeing more entries. Maybe I'll get inspired with my limited skills.

Sorry for being so late with this!I used the textures from Nadia for Alison P8, and tweaked her morph to make her older. I kind of like her as an older woman ;)
