I just purchased **!Vamp_Syndori ** and the base mats work wonderfully in Daz 3 however the runes and glyph that come with the package do not and are not supported by the vendor. However, they said there might be some free rune/glyphs created by a Daz user.
I've searched the free section and could not find them would anyone know if they exist and if the where I might find them or provide a link?

Do you have the free or the advanced version of DS3? Do you hae the Layered Image Editor? If you have Advanced or LIE you can make use of the supplied masks, if I am interpreting the file list in the readme correctly - using Shader Mixer in DS Advanced would probably get you closest to the Poser effect, but with a bit of work both should be fine. Your other options is to use an image editor to add the glyphs or runes to a copy of the base texture and apply that, instead of using an overlay as I'm guessing it does in Poser, or to apply the glyph or rune image to the Diffuse strength, and perhaps Ambient, in the Surfaces palette. Al of these involve a bit of fiddling, but they don't actually require special skills.

Thank you for the response. I have the Advance version of Daz 3 but I have never used any of the things you are talking about. Not even how to use them.. I know, I know.. but this feels way over my head.

OK, then you can use Shader Mixer. Try the face runes first - open the Shader mixer palette (from View>Tabs), and make it large (I have a separate Activity tab with it taking over half the width of the screen). Switch to the Surface selection tool (from the Tools menu). Now click on the figure's face, after applying the base texture. In the Shader mixer palette go to its File menu (not the main File menu for DS) and select From Scene, then click Accept with the default option (Material) selected. Now, if you hold down the ctrl key (cmd on Mac) you can drag in the Shader Mixer palette to scroll - move so that you have a bit of space, but can see the Image map bricks that should be there and the edge of the DAZ Material brick to which they connect. Click and drag on the title bar of the Tiler brick to drag it to the right by about its own width, then drag the Image brick right in turn so that there's a gap between it and the DAZ material brick.
On the left of the palette you should see the brickyard (it shares a space with the proeprties list, click the brickyard tab to bring it forward if it isn't showing). Now, from the All bricks>Functions>Math branch of the brickyard drag a Mix brick into the gap you just opened up and at the bottom, where it says Type, click on the current value (float) and pick color instead. Then from the All bricks>Functions>Pattern branch drag in an Image brick and drop it under the Image brick for the texture then click the triangle next to Image to expand the entry, then click the triangle next to the colour chip and seelct browse for image - find RuntimeTexturesvampbelfVAMP_SyndoriFaceglyphs.jpg (from the readme this looks like the mask image).
You now have your raw materials - next we assemble them. click on the C circle next to the Color output on the Image brick that was there initially for the texture and drag it to the C next to Base on the right of the Mix brick. Now click on the C next to color on the Image brick you've just added the mask to and drag that to the F next to Alpha in the Mix brick. You should have lines connecting those circles now. Expand the Layer section of the Mix brick by clicking its triangle and use the colour bar to set the colour you want for the Runes. Fianlly drag from the Cnext to Out on the Left of the Mix brick to the C next to Diffuse colour on the right of the DAZ Material brick (where there is currently a line running back to the Image brick for the texture) and you should have the basic material done - click Apply at the bottom of the Shader Mixer palette and see if you have the Glyphs on Victoria's face.

Simply apply the b&w "markings" maps to the ambient channel on the appropriate surface areas. This will prevent you from using ambient to adjust skin tone but you shouldn't really do that anyway. She'll look terrible in the viewport but render like in my example.
No special shaders or DS3A needed.

Thank you all!! Shotgung0d your answer is the easiest.
I did find the DS mats but couldn't get them to work in D3 or in D2 :( I followed the instructions but nothing happened.
