I just got a new computer with Windows 7. Everything has gone exceptionally well until today. I exported some figures from Poser as .OBJ files as usual and then went to import them into Bryce 4. Since Bryce 4 imports an object in individual pieces rather than by material, I sometimes start out with it if I need to texture separate parts of an object with the same texture but different texture scales, direction,, specularity, etc.
I navigated to the folder the .OBJ files were in, but they did not show up. I verified via Poser again that the files were there. I did a search in Windows 7, but it couldn't find the files. I then looked in the folder they were supposed to be in and Windows Explorer did not show them.
Other .OBJ files transferred over from my old computer showed up fine. So it's either the way Poser is generating the .OBJ files that prevents Bryce 4 and Windows 7 itself from seeing them, or it's something else.. Bryce 5 and 6 could see them. Poser 7 and 8 could see them. Are there different kinds of .OBJ files?
