The idea is to take the original image and change it..maybe just a little, maybe a whole lot..
What ever you want to do..
Post as many versions as you wish..
when posting images in the forum, they should be no greater than 800 pixels on the larger side and less than 200KB..
If you want the full res image to play with, you can download it HERE

WOW! I am sooooo impressed by everyone's creative talent!!! There is some extremely well done postwork going on here!
I know that we used to post another DITI on the following Monday and that would be me, but I'm thinking we should use your picture for another few days and let more people join in.
What do you think, Bruce? In the mean time I will look for something as interesting as your pic to post! LOL :)

I am new to this so I'm not familiar with how this continues... So how do you know who puts up the next one? Each Monday you say? And if that person isn't paying attention and get back to put one up, then what? (I'm always the trouble maker...)
Oh, and I think you can probably put up the next and keep the ball rolling. Don't want to run out of steam...

I remember the person with the first reply with a diti image gets to start the next one. A reminder may be posted in the thread after a few days or a site mail sent. That person should pass it on to the next person if need be. I believe the diti runs about 5 days before the next one. This is memory on how long to let it run but I don't remember a specific rule on that...it is a fun thing.
MrsLubner posted Tue, 17 November 2009 at 6:52 PM
That is lovely. I'd think a week (7 days) is good but maybe Bruce has a better idea but for now, I'd say he'd be proud to have Bentchick carry on at this point. :-)

Okay, well I'll tell you what, I will post a new Diti thread tomorrow morning (California time). I know we use to post the new ones on Monday of each week, and yes, the first person to post gets to start the next one the following week. The nice thing is anyone can still come back to an older Diti and play with the pic if they want. Sometimes we even get people taking two or more different Ditis and combining them!
I'm sure glad to see so many people joining in! It seemed kind of dead around here for awhile and I really missed doing the Diti thing!

I think its just getting the word out. I know there are some who want to do this but they weren't hear when we did this before so they don't know to come looking for it now. I want to put the links in my uploads for awhike ti spread the word.

Ain't this fun? Okay, Yvonne, I cheated and looked it up...looks like bentchick was onto something with "Deep Purple. And PJ, like your haunting colors followed up by the contrasty, vignetted B&W.
Now, it is time to try our hands on the new "killer" posted by bentchick...I've tried once already but failed...difficulty quotient has gone up a notch!!!
