Greetings.
I had a cluster of virus' attack my system a little over a year ago. A friend removed the viruses from my system without losing my data (thank goodness). Well It seems there were some pretty malicious sleeper virus' left in my system. (Vitro and Virut in particular) These were removed at a computer shop. Now ... I have several programs missing their .exe because to remove Virut it was necessary to remove the .exe file.
I have some models in my P6 runtime I don't want to reinstall if I don't have to due to the PMD files. CAN I re-install Poser6 over the previous install and have the files mearly blend into each other like when you load WINZIP files from purchases here? Or is there another solution?
Thanks in advance

You can generally install Poser over the top of itself - but bear in mind that this will reinstall the Poser content, which is ok as long as you haven't moved or altered any of it.
Another option you may consider, which is safer, is to move your existing runtime off somewhere else, install Poser and then tell it to use the old runtime too.

I would go with English Bob's second sugestion. You could then resave the items to new runtime and get rid of the old one if you wished.
Makes sure you install the Poser updates when you reinstall:

Just to let you all know I did load Poser over the old files and it worked fine! :) (also reloaded the updates!)
