I'm sure I'm missing some simple point here, but I just can't find it and I'm stopped cold. Going through tutorial for creating hair in poser 6. I've managed to grow some hair, in the hair room, now I want to style it. I pop out the style pallette and of course the selection tool is active. But I just can't get it to select hair vertices? It draws a selection square, but refuses to select anything.

Help?

Make sure that the skullcap is selected in the preview window, NOT the hair. This caught me out when I first started using the hair room.

I've done this a dozen different ways, with library hair and hair sets I've created myself but I still can't select the hair in the styling palette? Why me?  No one here has a clue?

Unfortunately I have no problem selecting guide hairs with the style palette so I don't know why it is not working for you.

I notice that though you have selected hairs your styling tools have not yet activated? Oh well, your settings look exactly like mine, so it has to be a glitch in the program. Perhaps a complete re-install will do the trick. Thanks anyway.

Have you tried PhilC's Hair Creator? It is great. I have made some nice hair with it.
