Because where theory and practice demonstrate disagreement, you will often find the Poser renderer is laughing at you.

I.e. Poser doesn't do a good job with displacement and reflection. Artifacts appear sometimes and they're hard to remove. Rather than explain all that, I just don't go there.


Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

OK, book was a pipe dream. On to Cloud. When is that coming out. I think you would give out for a price, recipes of the lovely stuff you have made. :-)
