My Vue 7.4 infinite under vista 64 refuses to start and seems to be unable to find the licence server.
It seems to happen since I installed Kaspersky 2010 security suite, not sure though ...
Could somebody help me opening the required ports I had very elliptic answers from both Kaspersky and Eon.
I'm not a network wizard ...

Well, if you do not allow Vue to look in the local network for the license server it is obvious that something goes wrong.
But normally in cases like this, Vue switches to demo (PLE) mode. Is that happening too in your case?

Yes I can use the PLE mode ... albeit a costly version ...
I found a workaround by reinstalling the latest update of vue 7.4 the Kaspersky security suite recognised it as a new program an asked me if it was safe and so on... a few clicks later everything is working OK.
I had exactly the same problem with geocontrol2 .
