Their restructuring included cleaning house in their D/L section. Whatever you had there is now irrecoverable.

There are 2 kinds of pilots; those who have landed with their landing gear up, and those who are going to...
I keep a database (of everything...'nuff said) that includes the serial numbers for all downloaded programs, and usually burning 2 copies of the original download. Heck, if I'd a-gotten started earlier, I'd still have AC3D...;)
CP went strange shortly after P5 was offered; suddenly you couldn't get much of anything without a P6 serial (in marketing terms, I don't see the logic..;), then they changed things (as mentioned above).
Sorry to hear it happened.
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Anyhow, why on earth would you want to get P5 again?
That's kinda like getting rid of measles then going looking to get it once more.
It's a really manky app; I am soo glad I burned my eyes out with hot coals, er, I mean, got P6.

It is possible that Poser 5 may show up again in 3DWorld, Creative Arts, etc magazines or you can go to PurPlus.net etc, and see if they still have Poser 5. Just ensure that your CD recorder player can read it eg if the software comes as a DVD, it may not if you don't have a DVD recorder player.
and you are not alone, Poser 5 has many valueable assets and you are absolutely right, an older computer cannot handle Poser 6 etc, plus if your laptop is running great, tossing it for the newest and greatest is like tossing a flawlessly running older car. As far as I'm concerned it tain't gonna happen---Jan
