Hi all,
As carrara is at a good price at the moment i am looking into it, specifically the import of poser animations so i don't have to use posers awful renderer.
i need to import p7/8 animations and render them out, does anyone do this? does it work? native poser file handling is very attractive if it can do it properly.
any thoughts appreciated.

Get the demo version... you can export PZ3 files and import into Carrara very easy.

Is there a better, more all round comprehensive, and Poser connected, 3D app than Carrara?
(At ANY price?)

The only question is whether you will ever open Poser again after owning Carrara - I don't.

The only use for Poser I have now is to make dynamic clothing and import it to Carrara, and yes it does work :) You can also import from DazStudio to Carrara with ease.
