i have an animation in AVI format, save first of all as an image sequence BMP then converted into AVI in Vitual Dub
Now i want too have this animation on my web site streaming.Would it then be best to convert this into a flash file (FLV) to get the best possible quality?

Hey mon
Check out the free application called Handbrake - It's designed specifically for creating video that can be uploaded to Youtube or Vimeo etc.
Works on Windows, Mac and Linux
( you need .NET Framework on Windows XP)
good luck

No personal experience here but this seems to be a good introduction to the subject & talks about the various formats.
