Hey Folks, As a routine, I daily check my email and go straight to the Renderosity Art Gallery to check out new stuff. I think it so funny that you're almost forced to post boobs to get into the top 20! Don't get me wrong, I love breast :0) and the work there is pretty good, but what if Renderosity had a No Boobs Week. What would get posted? I laughed when I thought about that. Anyway, just bein' a little silly right now. But I would like to read your comments.

hmmm........No Boobs Week......i'd most likely crumple to the floor in a frothing convulsion, swallow my tongue and spasm uncontrollably for about 4 hours or so.......well.........not really, but it seemed cool when i thought of it.....it does give one pause for thought, though.....nudity is easy when your Poser People pop out that way........i'd say there are even those who bought Poser for that very reason (and there's NOTHING wrong with that, for the record).......perhaps this is worth taking a shot at, eh??????

however, i think that there are plenty of images here that rate as Top 20 (whether they actually do or not) without a single breast in sight ;)

hrmmmmm...l an interesting idea... maybe we could give it a go and see what happens? Cheers

Isn't the Top 20 a result of how many times an image is viewed? Sex sells. If you post an image with any nudity it will more than likely fare better than one that doesn't. You can't control this element of human nature, even as it relates to artificial Poser people.

Hmmmm...an argument can be made that when one is working only on technique the subject can be a simple sphere. One could could then render a plain sphere, or with some effort and technical know-how, a decorative texture, or additional supplementary model/mesh embellishments could be added which would break the monotony of spheres alone rendered in a finite number of technical applications of light, position or placed in various environments. Of couse some would argue that the plain old ordinary un-embellished sphere is beautiful simply by design. Others might argue that it is enough to work only with the unembellished sphere....then there will be some clever person who puts two sheres together and says....look...I made Boobs! Maybe the alternative is to recognize the boobologists with the golden boob award....

How bout a no nudity gallery, because well there have been times I've posted an image with no nudity and I've seen them get next to no hits. It would be interesting to see a no boobie no dickie gallery within the Poser section?:)

I normally don't have nudity in my posts ... Course I don't get that many hits either LOL

If I'm not mistaken, you can turn off nudity in the gallery options of the member options page. I have no problem with nudity and worship the female form in all its glory. However I do notice a trend for really good artwork to not get the attention it deserves. I'm not really sure why this is, but to be honest, people are going to click on whatever it is that interests them, and although I hear many complaints about big boobs, sex, and the like, it is what gets the most attention. The people have spoken. I think the key to getting more hits for a non-sex/nudity pic is in the thumbnail. I've been watching which ones get more hits than others, and many times, the thumbnail doesn't portray the beauty of the picture it links to. Finding that perfect thumbnail isn't easy, but after some efforts and retry's you should come to find one that makes you say "If I were surfing, I'd click on that." Dragontales
