This may be a n00b question, but is there a way to save characters with morphs, textures, clothes, etc... other than as a poser file?
Actual objective:
To make multiple charcters for a possible story and be able to easily load them again.
So I make character 1, setup all the morphs, and textures and maybe a "standard" outfit.
Repeat for each character...
If I save these as PZ3's, I can't open more than one character at a time....
Any ideas?

You can do it easily by saving them complete to your Character library.
I mad a new sub folder titled "my pre made figures" and plonk them in there, I can then use them at any time witht eh right texture on and the right clothing, nothing simpler, really effective for story telling.

Thanks, I didn't think it would save everything about the character....
Will this still work if I use multiple runtimes?
Could I make a new runtime to keep things "clean"?

Yep, there are a couple of tick boxes to remember so that everything saves as one, it's very instinctive, you shouldn't go wrong.
Don't know about multiple runtimes, I use one runtime with sub folders, it works better for me that way, and yes I did try multiples but didn't like them. I find using the small black triangle to navigate my sub folders much easier, but that's my personal preference.

Yes and Yes. If you go the pz3 route, delete all lights before saving and import as a Poser document into your new scene.
