Subject: What's causing these weird render artifacts?

Vue 8, 47776 build, windows 7 64 bit, nvidia 9600GT blank defualt scene, only change is 95% sun shadow, sun softness 2 (and *not* using a shadow map) what the hell is causing these weird circle/partial circle artifacts on the ground, anyone got a clue? :/ seen this several times with V8.

Most likely cause is the Re-use indirect lighting is checked on the Render Options screen.

would be my quess too. Took me quite long to figure it out by myself when I had similar artifacts and it was the re-use indirect light option.
