Here's how my P8 loaded today. Only the working window, nothing else. What's up with that? I did have my browser open when I tried to load Poser. Never screwed it up before.

then I clicked the X ... I then maximized the window, and now only the menu and tabs are there with no working window or interface

I now tried to load a scene and that brought all the other elements back into the interface. That is a pretty weird one. I'm going to reload the app and see what happens.

OK ..prior to shutting it down I set all the preferences to factory default and it loaded OK. Not sure what happened. The only preferred state thing I had done when I installed Poser was to have the window open up empty.
Looks like all is well npw. I've noticed quie a few strange things like this with P8. I'm not totally liking it, and I do not like the new library structure at all, especially the fact you need to refresh the items all the time to get them to even show up.
The main interface usually loads pretty fast but the library is slow as hell.

Did you have any  Window updates recently especially to the internet browser?  I would keep track of those just in case P8 starts to misbehave.
