I have been using DS for about 6 months now, and it gets very frustrating when most of the models I would like to purchase say "Not tested in DS"
It seems to be that most of the Artist are Poser, poser, Poser.

So, I give in.  I am going to have to see what this Poser is all about.
My question is; Does anyone know of a possible fully functional free trial version before I spend my money, just to see if I can function with the software, as I have heard that it is way different and more complex than DS.

Thx!

Not tested in Daz studio is often that a vendor doesnt use Daz Studio and hasnt set up materials for it.  Most itejms will work in Studio but can not use Poser node based materials.

If you can set up materials in Studio you could easily do your own textures. Image maps will  work in either.

Smith Mico has a 30 day trial download of Poser. They do hold funds on a credit card though.

I actually find DS harder to get my head round than Poser, I have been using Poser since V1 though so that might explain it. ;)

It's a lot cheaper on eBay than through SM.  Just search in Computers and Networking for Poser.

True indeed, but Poser (at list)  is less than 1/10th the cost...

Can't get D|S to run on any of my machines.  Tried endless times, tried all kinds of workarounds but to no avail.

One day, I'll get a new system and get to grips with D|S.  Not just yet, though.

There are sellers on eBay that are selling Pirated Copies... If the price is too good, it is most likely for a reason. If it does not come in a Box with Production Disks and all the Paperwork, it is Pirated. Also, reselling Poser is a violation of the EULA that users agree to when purchasing Poser.
