This is just awesome. The B/W pictures are actual photos of period automobiles. The color pictures are miniature models…check it out.

That brings back some memories! I learned to drive in a '55 thunderbird...and the first car I bought for myself was a '64 Ford...it wasn't new...but it wasn't too old...lol

Oh thanks for that correction Tom. The email this came attached to said that the B/W photos were actual and color was miniature. But clicking on the URL (just noticed it) suggests that both B/W and color photos are miniatures. Thanks again Tom.

OK OK my first car, was 1963 dodge max wedge(425 hp) I still own it.It was new.I was in high school.the car is red is now restored with 25.000.00 miles.thank you thank you very much.

Yep...I know I'm old..but what the heck...lol
I would, still today, rather drive a stick than an automatic...
I remember my dad buying a pink and black '57 ford...he was proud of that car too... :biggrin:

I learned to drive in my girlfriend's '54 Nash Metropolitan(of all things) in the parking lot of Santa Anita racetrack in Arcadia, Ca, At that time in Ca, you had to be 21 to get a driver's license without a parent's signature - boy, does that date me!
