Thundering1 has offered the following for the February monthly challenge:
"Long Forgotten" - I LOVED the shot in Happy Feet where they get to where the humans used to be, and it been abandoned for a long time - they look at the top of a hill or something and through the mist and fog they see an abandoned church. Something lonely, haunting, and long forgotten.
Thundering1 has not stipulated any restrictions at this time.
**The Deadline will be 12 MIDNIGHT ROSITY TIME February 28th 2010
Contestants are permitted only one (1) entry.**
**WARNING!!!!! Anyone posting finished renders in the galleries before the end of voting will be disqualified from this challenge.
WIPS are fine as long as they are only posted in this thread.
You can find the full list of rules here.

**The entry page will be up shortly linked through the green text under the main forum banner.

You really DO have an Archeology degree! I just thought what you posted was funny in general!
Well, time for me to put on the thinking cap and come up with something sad...

I can't upload my entry. The link says February Challenge but takes me to last month's closed challenge. Anyone else had any luck?

The entry pages aren't up yet. Don't worry, you'll know when they're ready. ;-)

I posted last night. I've just tried to repost but there's now nowhere on the page to do so.
I'm guessing it knows I've already posted.

I tried to post my entry earlier today but it doesn't seem to show up. Maybe I'm just too impatient though, maybe it just takes hours before it is accepted or something. I don't know.
thundering1 posted Sun, 28 February 2010 at 11:33 AM
I get the picture there's a direct approval process - someone needs to check to make sure it's not pR0n.
Rynn posted Sun, 28 February 2010 at 11:53 AM
lol, okay, so I don't need to worry then. :D

Here's the deal, Guys. I'm not here 24/7, but as soon as I'm on I check the entries.
All entries so far have been approved. Of course if you did post porn you'll know already 'cos I'd have busted your a**. ;-)

I'm sorry, I did not know you had to check the entries. I thought it worked like the galleries, where you post your render and a minute later you can see it.
