Subject: windows7 now will not work my adobe and painter3 at all

hiya  last monday worked on my adobe with no problems, the same day next time i loaded it in i got the message windows is having a problem with this program, and a program is not letting this program work, 12 reloads and installs later 6 days of readingon the net i still cannot get it to work? my painter 3 is the same, anyone got any ideas and i now have no work and cannot seem to fix this the adobe site is no help at all.

Which version of Photoshop, assuming that's what you mean by Adobe? Painter 3 is pretty old, so it wouldn't be undult surprising if it had problems - did it ever work under Windows 7? Which version of Windows 7 - Pro and above have "XP mode" which allows you to install a copy of XP in a virtual machine, it might let you run Painter if it's flat incompatible with Windows 7. For Photoshop, have you tried deleting the files in WindowsPrefetch?

We cant help without more info ... what type of win 7 what version of CS PS etc etc..
And im quite sure the help dept. of adobe will help you and every other legal Pshop user with these kind of problems..

I run CS4 on win7 32 and 64 win7 pro and ultimate ..
And only win7 64 bit has some problems with CS4...

I read a thread recently about Acrobat auto-updating itself and stopping the rest of the suite from working.

Could your problem be something similar?
