I hate having to go Deformers-->Hide all every time I start Poser. I've tried setting the preferred state in my preferences with them off but they're back the next time I launch Poser.

What I do is change the display of the deformers to wireframe. They still show up but they don't really get in the way.

Yes, that's how I set them when I'm done with them. They're still distracting to me though. But thanks for the tip.
