Has Carrara even come close to vue yet as far as rendering, stability, outdoor scenes ect ?I am looking at these "Harpwood" scenery packs over at Daz and they look quite nice.
any info or advice is much appreciated, thanks.

Carrara's renderer is still the same. DAZ Studio is a better renderer. Don't know if it does outdoor though.
That artist is making scenes for Vue now. Check Cornucopia3D. I bought one the other day called Autumn Pond. He is still learning Vue, but so far they look better in Vue than in Carrara.

Those are nice scenes, they would look great in Vue, but Vue I know how to use (;
