Hi all,
I recently installed a copy of Poser on my computer and I have a question. When I load a figure it shows up as a wire frame and I have to go through the menus to get the textures to show up. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to get a loaded item to show up textured instead of wire framed? Or is this just something that I will have to deal with using Poser 8? If that is the case I will just remove it since I don't like to have to go through all the steps to see a texture I am working with.

Press on the "document display type" gadget the "texture shaded" button. Then go to Edit!General Preferenced": and make sure that on the Interface tab "launch to previous state" is selected

You must have it set to show the wireframe view instead of smooth shaded.
With an empty scene, in the Document Display window, click on the texture shaded ball (at the lower right).
Then, go to Preferences, make sure sure it is set to open to preferred state, and click the Set Preferred State button.
DOH!! Curse my metal body-I wasn't fast enough!

You should have a set of circles that set the display attributes. Select the one at the far right for texture shadinged.
