Could someone check their version for me, please?

Don't quote me on this as I don't have Poser running on this machine, but I think if you set GC on in the default render dialogue then it will be honoured when rendering via the D3D dialogue, so long as you don't activate TM.
Give it a try, although I could be wrong.

Thanks Gary.
Maybe with SR1....
Edit: Carodan, you are correct that it honours the GC setting in the standard render settings pane. Enabling Tone Mapping has no effect on this, however.

SM didn't write that script, and isn't maintaining it, apparently.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

That's true, BB, but SM did package the script with the product.
I thought the Poser Pro version had GC controls, but I was wrong. Maybe the GC settings are not exposed in Poser Python....

look the script is giving you extra settings. but in the default render window you have all GC settings that you need.
so you turn GC on and tehn you can go in the D3D

Similarly, in Poser 8 (as well as PP2010) you have to enable IDL in the main render settings dialog... I don't see why doing the same for GC in PP2010 is such a huge chore.
My request to Ralf (who developed the script) would be to add a couple of extra buttons:
Windows 10 x64 Pro - Intel Xeon E5450 @ 3.00GHz (x2)
PoserPro 11 - Units: Metres
Adobe CC 2017

Will some one tell me where to find the D3D setting??? I am not seeing it in my setup and I have PP 2010... Also is where in Poser 7 or 8 is the saved render settings? I'll like to copy them over to PP2010 and modify them.

The D3D dialog is in:
menu Scripts / Partners / Dimension3D / Render FireFly
I don't know where saved settings are. Perhaps look around where Poser preferences are kept and something will jump out at you.

Yes, I am quite able to get that far on my own brain power. It's not a chore at all.
My question was answered by grichter in the second post, but thanks for everyone's input.

I did not own Poser Pro before, that's why it still has the Poser 8 version of the Render FireFly script. I will do an enhanced script with Pro features (gamma, background render, queue render etc.) and either release as freebie or for SR1 of Poser Pro 2010.

Fantastic news, thank you. I really miss rendering from your script. I'd really gotten used to the Render (with time) function but I haven't been able to use it since doesn't send the render to background.
