Subject: how do you make clothes conform propperly?

I've modeled a long slinky dress to fit my character perfectly and then used uv mapper to assign the chest, abdomen, hip, lThigh, and rThigh groups. I took a few cr2's from poser clothing (catcuit, halter top dress, and formal dress) and changed the geometry lines to point to my new dress's obj. I load it up and the dress fits perfectly--with the halter top cr2 it even lines up perfectly. When I hit conform to the dress drops down to her feet :( Help please

Creating conforming clothes is an adventure in JP center point location. ;-) You'll need to play around with the centerpoint locations for each part of the dress. It's not something that most people can do easily. Sometimes it involves some .cr2 trouble shooting. And even some of the seasoned users have a hard time with the conforming problems. Check out nerds site. He has some tutorials on the subject. ScottA

I've been working on this in my spare time for 3 months. Believe me, it's an education! Good luck, and hope it goes well!
