Hi,

Probably been asked before, but how do I remove the Poser Pro 2010 beta serial on Mac? I can't enter my serial and poser says the beta expired.

It's a different program. You have to install the full version.

Edited to add: and uninstall the Beta version!

Thanks.

I tried to install 2010 over the Beta version expecting it to overwrite the files. Apparently it doesn't. I deleted the Beta and installed it. Workes fine now.

Glad to hear it... Happy rendering, wacky!

On a Mac it is found in a file called PoserReg.dta
The file is located from your hard drive not user,
library:application support:Poser Pro:2.0.

Inside that folder 2.0 is the PoserReg.dta file. Just delete it and launch Poser and you have to put in your purchased serial number. Easier then doing a complete install.

Hang on... the final release of Poser Pro 2010 is very different to the Beta release. You have to do a full install of the final released product. (As the OP already did).

Yes, but when you remove the beta and install the final release, it kept using the old beta serial number and did not update or change that file I referenced. Upon launch after installing the final release it still used the beta serial number and until you removed that file and relaunched you could not put in the new serial number. At least that was my experience.

Oh, I see what you mean...  sorry.
That's strange, mine installed completely independently of the Beta version (which I only uninstalled afterwards) and asked me for the new serial number on first use.
Hence my blindness to the issue!
