I'm trying to export a figure from Poser 8 into Vue 6 to render and I'm having some trouble getting the textures to show up in Vue. It's keeps showing up as solid white or black. I tried loading the texture images into the materials in Vue once and that didn't work, I think it was a .lwo file I tried this on. Anyone know how to get this to work? what format is best?

Note: I can't import poser files 'casue Vue 6 only supports up to poser 7.

Thanks

The best format for exporting to Vue is .obj format. If you put all of the textures in the same folder as the .obj, Vue should be able to find them and apply them on import.

Vue didn't find the textures, but I told it where to find 'em and now it's working. Thanks very much!

My Poser > Vue workflow is highly reliable:

Scripts > Utility > CollectSceneInventory / [Select...] Copy All to Folder

Then import the .pz3 file created in the folder into Vue

This puts everything Vue requires into one location, no hassles.
