Hi all,

I've been successful in making some nice clothing and rigging it properly.  I now want to get some controlled morphs put in and have a few starter questions.

For background, the clothing I'm making is for the Daz Gen 4 characters.  I am capable of creating a morph and believe I am also capable of making it into a JCM.  I have read lots and lots of tutorials and websites (including that of rbtwhiz and nerd3d), but I'm left with a few pointed questions.  I'm open to reading more if you know of one that specifically addresses the making of JCM's.

1.  I'm trying to understand the role of magnetizing clothing.   Is this a thing of the past replaced by JCM's?  Is it still part of V4?   How about M4?

2.  Is there an easy way to identify the JCM's in a character's body part and somehow see their impact so that the clothing will follow the morph? Or is the best way to pose the character in all sorts of ways to make sure you have enough JCM's in the clothing to have it work properly?

3.  Are there any shortcuts you are aware of that I should be aware of?  :)

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me on this topic.

Indi.
