HI. I've been playing around with 3d creation for a while. I've created for Sims 2 and used some of that knowledge to transfer over to Daz.
I've gotten to the point where I can create an object in WIngs 3d, create a texture, and UV map it. I can import the object into DAZ and then load the texture via the surfaces tab.
The thing is I'd like to learn how to create a package for DAZ. Forgive me if that ins't the right term but that's what we call in in the Sims. What I mean is, I want to learn how to make a package that I can put into the freebies section and other people will be able to load it into thier DAZ program...without having to load each thing separately. I guess I'm asking about how to create a Runtime file??
any help appreciated
Susan

Here's a couple helpful tutorials for you.

If you need further explanation, don't hesitate to ask.
One thing I would caution though, make sure that anything you package and offer is yours to share. If it is a derivative of another's work you must have their permission prior to sharing.
Good luck and can't wait to see your work! :)
