Hi gang, I've been going over the manual for Cararra 5 Pro and they mention the Chamfer tool and how to use it. I can fillet all day long, no problem. However, where is that chamfer tool or is fillet and chamfer the same thing, both round edges? Jan

It's the same as far as Carrara is concerned. Technically, a chamfer is a convex edge (rounded edge on a cube) and a fillet is a concave joint (like a plane wing joining the fuselage).
One of those unfortunate edits...

Thanks Mark for your quick reply. I sort of thought that since Carrara's definition of a chamfer read just like a fillet. Jan

Also a quick note in case you didn't see it you can get C6 pro in 3dArtist magazine.

Sniffle, not if Books-a-Million doesn't sell the magazine (Barnes and Noble have left the office-closed up and moved). Hopefully, 3DWorld Magazine will offer it some month. Jan
