Hey guys, I'm kind of new with Daz. I've been downloading some freebies on my Window Vista in the .zip format. When the files are finished downloading a window pops up with an extract function in the top left corner. Do I extract it? If so, where do I extract them?

I would recommend extracting to a dummy folder, then merging the Runtime folder from that dummy folder with one of your Poser-format content folders ( the default location is "Documents>DAZ 3D>Studio3>Content>Runtime". Make sure the two Runtimes are merged, rather than one being underneath the other.

Doesn't seem to be working.
I first made a dummy folder called "Blah" on my desktop, I exported all the files there. I then opened up your target location via Local C:Drive via Programs via Daz 3D and I dragged "Blah" into the runtime folder.

First of all, you shouldn't put your content under Program Files -- that's a protected folder and Vista will give you problems. What you need to do is merge the Runtime folder under Blah with the Runtime folder in Content -- you never want one Runtime folder to be underneath another one. Then, in D|S, if you are using a Category view (which is the default), you need to do a "Search for Content".

the program will not read the blah folder in the runtime folder
the dummy folder is so you can move the runtime the downloads create into your studio runtime.
or better yet point your studio program to the new blah folder .

Is there any kind of tutorial that instructs you on how to download content from
Renderosity because it's not as straight forward as it is from the DAZ site.

You need to give more details about what you're having trouble with, e.g. whether it's a problem downloading purchased content or FreeStuff items, and/or a problem unpacking and using the said items.

With the Freestuff items it seems to be both with the downloading and the unpacking and using them.
When I select download it never allows me to select where I want them downloaded. Then I can't access them.
