Hi all. Can somone help with this little nagging problem? I want to delete the mane and tail on the Mil Horse. The tail was no problem as I could just delete it from the hierarchy , but the mane is another matter altogether. It only shows the Mane End which also was easy enough to get rid of. But I need to delete the whole mane. I went into the Modeling Room to try and fix the problem by selecting the polygons and deleting them, but as you can see there are no selection tools highlighted to select the polygons I want to delete. How can I solve this. Any ideas?

Namaste;-)

I have had great success "removing" undeletable parts by selecting the part in the modeling room and setting the size to 0 or 1%. They can be selected by the menu item: select by> shading zone>mane

Thanks much SP. Will give it a try and see what happens.

Where do I set the size? Thanks.

That's OK. I found it, but it does'nt help. It just move s the polygons to the floor (XYZ=0), with an ugly looking string of polygons attached.

You have moved the location of the vertices, not resized them. After selecting the mane, click on the resize tool (far left of screen), then over on the far right, the pallette will read "scale". Change the "global" setting from 100% to 1%.
In the shader room you will have to give those poly'sa shader with 0% for the alpha to make them invisible.
