I've been searching through the various threads but I can't find where this is discussed, so can someone please remind me...

This is a crop from a gallery pic in which I just can't seem to get rid of these IDL artifacts. Are we still waiting for a final fix for this? If so, what is the best way to minimise the problem in the meantime?

The 'studio' is made up of separate walls and floor. At first the artifacts were much much worse, so I tried overlapping the surfaces. It was a bit better, but still pretty bad, especially in low light levels.

Would welding the walls and floor together in a modelling app get rid of the artifacts? I don't know how to do that but I'll give it a go if it will improve things.
