As long as Renderosity has had this feature, I've NEVER been able to have the metadata show up on photo uploads. I'm guessing it doesn't read Photoshop metadata? I have checked the box on the upload, I have set the preferences to show ALL of the metadata, and tried lots of settings, but nothing has worked, so far. I do not use layers. Although I use the sharpening filter occasionally, but not every time. I have only cropped, and downsized the images. So, I have been advised to ask the experts here, and maybe there is something I am missing? I have owned a Nikon 880, Nikon 8700, and now a Canon EOS Rebel T1i, and even though the metadata (camera settings, etc.) shows up on Bridge with all of these cameras, and also Photoshop, it doesn't show up here on the uploads of my gallery.
Thanks for any help!

I know using Lightroom and Paintshop Pro I have to TELL the program to save the metadata to the jpg. output. Are you including this instruction in your file reductions for the gallery?

If you use the "save for web" option, it strips the EXIF data..
There is a box to check when you upload here..

Box checked --- doesn't show
JPG instruction "all data" to show -- doesn't show up here, BUT once I save the JPG, the metadata shows up in Bridge and Photoshop. It just doesn't show up here.
I'm confused... ;c)

My theory is Photoshop has a different form of metadata, and that is why Bridge and Photoshop both can read the metadata. Renderosity must use a different form of metadata, and that is why it doesn't show up. I cannot afford another program at this time to "experiment" with other types, so I guess I'll just upload and not check the box hoping it will show up, because it won't. Thanks to those who attempted help.

I have had a look at your website and its photography section - i downloaded a photo to analyse the metadata on there and there is no camera setting data present which would show up on Renderosity. Are you using the same method of saving for the photos on your website as you are for Renderosity?
Also what version of photoshop are you using?

I am using Photoshop CS4. But I did figure it out.. cannot save for Web, as was previously mentioned. What confuses me if saving for Web, the metadata is more detailed. If using "save as" only, a lot less data shows up, plus the file size seems smaller. Guess I confuse easily... lol. Thanks for the help. I really do appreciate it.
