At blender.org's download page, for Windows 32 bits, what is the difference between the Installer & the Zip Archives?

I suggest to go with the Installer, it's going to be easier.

I agree with that one as the installer setups up the .blend file format to hold the blender logo but the zip version doesn't so making it easier to define a .blend file.

The Installer is pretty self-explanatory. It just installs the program. The .zip download is more portable and allows you to run the program without installing it. It's good for using Blender on removable drives on different computers.
It is better to do one thing well, than to do many things and excel at nothing.
