That's my cart, and as you see 3 items are on sale. Does that mean I am not able to use the coupon *code 052910B30P50? Get to the MarketPlace by May 31st and receive 30% off of your purchase of $50 or more.
Because it also states...
During checkout, be sure to enter the coupon code above in the box marked "COUPON" and hit the apply button to see your savings. Coupon discount CANNOT be applied after checkout - no exceptions.
*Sale and clearance items are not eligible for this coupon discount.
So could some one let me know if I can check out and not waste the coupon by adding it only to find I do not meet the requirements?
ThanX!

The sale items count towards the minimum but will not receive the coupon discount, you can double check that when applying the coupon and hitting the "apply" button to see the discount amount you will receive on the total order.

YAY!!! I feel SO MUCH Better! ;)
I was only worried about meeting the minimum. I already knew that the 3 did not get discounted, but worried that the whole cart would default out because of those few items!
Hope you're having a great weekend Debbie!!!
Hugs & ThanX!

Dear Renderosity,
Have you ever considered letting people have the option to buy sale items for full price when you have a coupon that does not apply to sale items? In many cases the items that I am interested in and that are currently on sale are discounted much less than the 30% coupon.

In many cases the items that I am interested in and that are currently on sale are discounted much less than the 30% coupon. That would then leave vendors with no way of opting out of the higher discount coupons (see attached link) as putting items on sale is the only way they have of stopping the coupons being applied to their items (which is why a lot of items are on sale at low percentages this weekend).

Nope...I have $57 dollars worth of merchandise in my cart. There is one clearance item while everything else is full price and the coupon will not apply to anything.

I've sent an email to the programmer.

Yes it was the same for me as well yesterday. That kind of makes me a bit angry if it's supposed to apply anyway, because now the money is already spent and I could have spent it here.
LadyElf posted Sun, 30 May 2010 at 9:01 PM
Deb, just an FYI for you, I just read elsewhere that it is now working correctly :)
Debbie M. posted Sun, 30 May 2010 at 9:45 PM
Really? where'd you read that?
Thanks!

Just curious, but do you play at a site and if so, would it be Pogo?
Debbie M. posted Tue, 01 June 2010 at 8:32 AM
I play on facebook :) I don't know anything about Pogo.

Is this how all future coupons will be? I had a nice cart full ready last night, but cancelled the order after realizing that the cost was very different from what I had planned on spending. The coupons and sales generally are how I choose what to buy and when-with a few things here and there mixed in...
Debbie M. posted Thu, 03 June 2010 at 10:23 AM
All future coupons will not be like this. Coupon discounts vary from coupon to coupon.

Ah...not to be continuing to take this OT, but I get ya now. Pogo.com is a fun site. There's lots of games. Ads, too, but you can pay to get rid of those. Most aren't intrusive, though.
I'll now return you back to your regular programming.

OK, that's good to know.
