Does anyone have this product who uses DS?  I'd like to know if it works in DS.

If not...does anyone know how to convert mc6 to work in Daz?

Her 'read me' file says not.

Product Requirements Poser 6 or greater, not supported in DAZ Studio.

Too bad  - cool model.  I always read the comments and check the 'read me' file to see if DAZ is supported, if that helps.

Hi
Yes would be great to be able to open m5-6 type files, the times I have found a great model only to find when I open the Runtime that it has these ,so it wont open in Daz .

I did read the readme file...and it only says its not supported..not that it won't work...I've seen those a hundred times when the product will work in Daz but no one bothered to test it to see.

Blueblott:  I know there is a way to change the mc5 and 6 to work...just forgot how.  I'm going to search for a tutorial and if I find one I'll let you know.

thanks for replying guys....

It's not clear from the readme how the textures work - looking at the promos they are probably simple replacements for the basic textures, in which case you should be able to use them, but you are going to have to edit the paths if you don't leave everything in the default location since the textures appear to be in the material library folder (on the other hand, since you can't see that folder in the Content palette it won't get in the way if you leave it, and the jpgs, in the default location). Remember that even if you convert the mc6 files you aren't going to get anything done in the ShaderTree section (anything done with nodes in the Advanced version of the Material Room), though if you can work out what's missing you could rebuild it in the Shader Mixer if you have DS3 Advanced: I notice that there appear to be no bump or specular maps, so those may be things that used shader nodes (though the sample renders look very shiny so perhaps there are no bump settings).

Thanks Richard...I can usually look at the readme and tell but this one was just vague enuff to make me uncertain..that's why I asked here.  I may go ahead and give it a try although I know I'm stuck with it if it doesn't work...lol
