Today I saw a link on Terragen2 forum about a gallery on DeviantArt. The renders are not done in TG2. They are not even done in Vue. The are done using... well, read the descriptions of the images. Here is the link: madmaximus83.deviantart.com/.
No flame intent, just the wish to share some wonderful images and great source of inspiration.

Can I throw my Vue out the window? :laugh:Mazak
Sure ... if you have a spare $10k laying around. We all ooh'd and ahhh'd the Crisys engine last year.

also not available to individuals unfortunately!
nice looking renders though.

yes they are good :)
but look at 'em
there's something very..not right about 'em.
is it the render engine, or creator?
materials are way too clean/smooth and shadow/light looks too...I dunno.
Vue's definatley needing some mojo from grahics card acceleration, or an unbiased render engine.

Oh, Ok. I thought maybe Crisys engine 3 was out when I read the OP. I'll keep Vue Infinite 8.

It's the style the creator/developer wanted to obtain. Cry Engine has no trouble in showing dark and dirty places (the usual location for your shootout to death is not a clean and pristine Imladris-like place ).
