Thanks Frank!

I am really excited about this month's challenge! BorisB has uploaded a wonderfully amusing image today in his gallery of a lamb standing on top of his mother! I hope he will post it here!

I think in today's life we can all do with a laugh!

I'm guessing that animals will play a big part in this challenge.  I got this one this weekend and had thought of posting it to my gallery...but this seems like a great place to put it!  This is what I see when I try to sweep under my gazebo...or any place else.  Our sweet puppy loves chasing the broom.

I hope its not cheating but I was doing a photo shoot with two of my more reliable models today... we were simulating that "Island" feeling.  They weren't really getting into it as you can see.  The red-head, Miss Gilda, seemed to pray alot to some unseen god, and Jessie with the white streaks in her hair was totally mortified.

So much for that "Island" atmosphere... LOL

I put them together because they seemed to be of one mind...and it certainly wasn't my mind they were melding with!

Well now next time I'm at a hotel I'm going to have to leave all the towels origamied (just too bad I'll not be a fly on the wall to see the expressions of the cleaning crews...)  too funny!

OK, I'm in the cemetery concentrating on getting some shots for a weekly competition (for another site) and I look over and here is my son and his fiancee so very irreverently picking and eating mulberries from one of the ornamental trees....

I just shook my head as I grinned and snapped a shot of the mulberry munchers .

You doesn't have to be a gardener, for that.

Sometimes I ask myself,: " why do you have a head, sir - madam"?
You must return to the main store, and order another .
Or, can't you find the right buttons there, up above?

Just kidding of course.

Oh Gosh - for some reason I did not get the ebots for these last uploads!

@ Kort - Wha-ha-ha... Mies asks if he is a dentist - I think he might need a dentist! Very funny indeed!!!

@ Priska - What fun... even airports have rush hour!!! Very funny!

@ Tofi - Oh dear me... that seems like a fun thing to do... dancing in a trance!!!

@ myrrhluz - You really creacked me up with both your shots! I love that cat's attitude... A real mean machine... And the sign - wha-ha-ha... That is a first I  must admit!

Cool pics all... keep them coming!

YES, cool pics. that little airplain after that big one, so funny!
The trancedance, oh, oh, that guy, he's 'making it'.
And that 'lapcat' is hypnotic stunning, with his/her eyes.
Amazing !
Now MY sidewalk here is closed!!!

This has been such a fun challenge!  Here's my last.

Myrrhluz, love that "sidewalk closed" shot, nothing like stating the obvious!  LOL

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

So where do they go when a photograph leaves you speechless?

Well I didn't get out and about as much as I wanted this month, so I'm going to sneak in a few shots I already had.

This one cracks me up every time I see it, you can tell Annexie thought that particular spoonful of jello was totally misdirected.....

We find playing Bananagrams rather challenging around our house, Mitzie always insists on playing too!

LOL! Very funny shots, LovelyPoetess! Glad you put them in! I love Annexie's expression! That's a very eloquent eyebrow!  Your second image made me think of a cousin, his Siamese cat and a deck of cards.

here one of two dogs checking out a dead fish on the beach

what you see is not what you know; it in your face

It looks like his eyes are bigger than his stomach. Great shot, jocko!

LOL... I love the kitty playing along and the misdirected jello!!!
Well, they are all funny... I wonder what the dogs were thinking about the strange creature on the beach that is almost bigger than them!!!

Thanks all - I needed the giggle this morning!

LOL! He's got a serious expression below his cautionary hat.  I'm glad he's letting everyone know what lurks within.  Great capture!

MrsLubner posted Thu, 01 July 2010 at 4:00 PM

And, ya know what???  I'm glad you slipped in with this conehead!  Priceless shot and a belly-laugh for sure. Bet his wife stayed 10 feet away as she moved through the crowd lest someone think he belonged to her...LOL
