Have you contacted Daz Tech Support?
You might want to double-check it's installing to the correct place in pop-up...
Wish I could be of more help, but don't have that plug-in.

I have Handgrip and my installation was with no problems when i had my G5 mac.with Tiger and then i recently changed to a Mac Pro with Snow Leopard and it was with no problems.
I read your message. And iknow what your problem is.. The D AZ installer creates a default path.. and that path might not exist in your mac. So i usually just change the path and install it on my desktop. Then i can move the files to whatever folder it needs to be in the Aplications/DAZ 3d/ folder, or in the DOCUMENTS/Daz3d/ folder.( You will know because the intalled folder in the dektop has the names of the daz folders the files go in)

Thanks much for the reply, but as I open the installer it does'nt give me an option for changing the path. I'll try re-downloading and see what happens.

As I asked in reply to your post at DAZ, did any other plugins install correctly? Or shaders? By which I mean those with their own installers, not those included with DS. If not, or if you can't test, it may well be that the application path was not correctly written when DS was installed - it goes in a .ini file on Windows but I'm not sure where a Mac stores it. Reinstalling DS might help if that's the case; however, if other things did install correctly that shouldn't be the problem.

Thanks again Richard. I tried reinstalling DS3A and NOTHING, NADA! I have'nt had a problem with any other installers since I started using DS3A. I wonder if I can just empty the contents of the installer into a folder on the desktop and just move it to the plug-ins folder.

I don't think so - the installer is an application that requires you to go through the EULA screen, so it can't be by-passed like a self-extracting zip file. If anyone knows where the Mac stored the application path you could check that that was entered correctly (content doesn't need it, that's why I was asking about other plugins or shaders) and possibly correct it if not.

Thanks again Richard. I guess I'll just start over from scratch and dump everything.
