Hi! Thanks for reading this. I have DAZ Studio3 (free) installed, having downloaded it with Bryce 5.5.
I haven't played with DAZ much until this year. Since I started, I grabbed up all of the free items I could find - characters, clothes, textures, hair, etc. Well, the problem I am now having is all the stuff I have installed in DAZ has slowed it to a crawl. Too many "content directories", it said.
So, how would I reduce the directories? Short of deleting and re-installing DAZ, I am unsure of the proper way to remove some of the stuff I've installed. Will simply deleting the "extra" directories and files work? Should it be done from within DAZ and a particular way? Or just delete the above from the hard drive?
I have purchased most of what I use now, so the free stuff is mostly just taking up space.
Thanks again. Any help is appreciated.
